Liz DiGiandomenico
President

Liz DiGiandomenico is the President of EyeMed Vision Care, the vision benefits division of Luxottica Retail. Liz has served in several executive and managerial level leadership positions in her 13-year tenure with EyeMed and its affiliated organizations, including most recently, Associate Vice President of Financial Group – Luxottica Retail. Liz has extensive experience in both finance and strategic business development and is responsible for all facets of EyeMed’s sales, marketing, service and operations. 


Liz supports Luxottica Retail’s vision of “Helping the World See” by volunteering with the OneSight foundation, a program providing free eye care and eyewear to those in need.  She has participated in many public school screenings, eyewear recycling events and an international mission to Africa. Liz serves as an executive member on the World’s Best Workplace Committee, and is highly influential in Luxottica Women’s Mentoring Group, focusing on promoting women in the workplace.


Liz is president of the National Association of Vision Care Plans and actively supports the Vision Council of America’s “Check Yearly. See Clearly.” Campaign.  In 2004, she was recognized as one of the 50 Most Influential Women in Optical featured in Vision Monday, sponsored by Jobson Optical Group. She was recognized a second time as part of Vision Monday’s 2007 20 Most Powerful Women in Optical.


Before joining LensCrafters in 1992, Liz held various positions among the top accounting firms in the country, including Arthur Andersen and Price WaterhouseCoopers. Liz is a graduate of Ohio State University’s Business School, and she is a Certified Public Accountant.


John Lahr, OD

Divisional Vice President and Medical Director

 

As the Medical Director for EyeMed Vision Care and a licensed optometrist, John is responsible for the Provider Relations area and managing our relationship with all providers. John is also responsible for our Quality Assurance program and  committee, helping us develop policies and procedures in line with or exceeding industry standards.


Prior to John’s involvement with EyeMed, he founded the Eye Clinics, an eye care group practice in Minnesota. John has also held various leadership roles in the American Optometric Association. He is co-author of a textbook for eye care professionals and their staff.
