What to Expect at an Eye Exam
During the visual acuity test, you will read the eye chart. The doctor may dim the lights, then cover one eye and ask you to read through various lines of letters. You may also be asked to stare at the big “E” at the top of the chart while the doctor shines a light into your eye to measure the way it reflects.
