Network Access Tool

EyeMed’s products are supported by diverse networks that provide convenient access to quality eye care. Select a state to see the percent of the population with access to at least one EyeMed provider within 15 miles in key metropolitan areas. Calculations are based on driving distance.

EyeMed Insight Network

The EyeMed Insight Network optimizes accessibility for members, providing at least 90% access in rural areas and 99% access in urban/suburban areas (based on 2 providers in 10 miles in urban/suburban areas and 1 provider within 20 miles for rural areas). Plans supported by this network are available only for groups with more than 1,000 eligible employees only.

EyeMed Advantage Network

Ideal for small to mid-sized employer groups and organizations with employee concentrations in metropolitan areas, the Advantage network includes national optical retail brands and a smaller number of private practice doctors.

EyeMed Select Network

While the EyeMed Select Plan is still priced lower than most competing plans, it allows members to use their benefits at thousands of independent providers across the country. This plan is ideal for regional employer groups.

EyeMed Access Network

The EyeMed Access Plan offers EyeMed’s most comprehensive geographic coverage and is ideal for large, national client organizations. The EyeMed Access Plan is not available for groups with fewer than 1,000 eligible employees.
