Q. What kind of plans do you offer?
A. EyeMed offers a variety of plans to meet diverse employer group needs, including fixed fee (through outside underwriters) and fee-for-service funded benefits, as well as discount vision programs. Please visit our Product Innovations page to learn more.
Q. Do you offer products in all states?
A. Yes, EyeMed’s plans are available for companies located in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. We can also provide benefits for employees residing in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Q. What is your minimum group size?
A. EyeMed requires a minimum of 10 employees enrolled in a program.
Q. How do you pay commissions?
A. EyeMed uses a straightforward approach to commission schedules to ensure fair, level and consistent compensation for your efforts. Flat, non-sliding commissions are released once a month, following premium receipt, over the life of the policy. EyeMed’s standard policy rate guarantee is four years, ensuring long-term compensation for EyeMed’s brokers and consultants.
Q. What automated service options do you have available for brokers and consultants?
A. Brokers and consultants can register with a sales representative to access a variety of sales tools. We offer online quoting for groups of 2,000 or less, as well as proposals you can use to present an EyeMed vision program to your clients. Q. How big is your network?
A. EyeMed’s network offers access to up to 40,000 providers at 20,000 locations nationwide. Depending upon the product selected, your plan may be supported by a sub-set of these providers.
